Castleton Brass inherited it's origins from the Norwich based Drayton Band which was formed in 1937.

When, in 2000, the Band moved its rehearsal facilities to Hartismere High School in Castleton Way, Eye it also decided to adopt the new name of Castleton Brass.

The band plays at a variety of events and locations predominantly in the East Anglian region including supporting local community events.

We currently rehearse on Tuesday evenings at Mid Suffolk Business Park near Eye, additional players are always warmly welcomed.
